I'M SEAN GRIMES

I'm a freelance Creative Director and art director based in San Francisco. I build ideas that connect brands with people through campaigns, digital experiences, social, and storytelling. Over the last decade I've partnered with brands including The North Face, Hulu, Fitbit, Amazon, NerdWallet, AT&T, Lyft, Honey Bunches of Oats, and Muscle Milk.

Long before advertising, I grew up in Gilbert, Arizona, where my friends and I would shovel shaved ice from the local ice rink's Zamboni into the back of a pickup, haul it to the nearest hill, and build our own snowboard run. That obsession eventually took me to Colorado to ride the real thing, and later to San Francisco, where I found my way into advertising and discovered I could make a living bringing ideas to life.

When I'm not working, you'll probably find me camping somewhere off grid in my Volkswagen Westfalia, chasing good snow, good coffee, or a place with zero cell service.
